IPOB-PW Cautions Separatist Agitator Against Tagging Innocent Citizens As Deserters

The Indigenous People Of Biafra’s Political Wing (IPOB-PW) has cautioned Chinasa Nworu, a member of its parent body (IPOB),  to refrain from labeling innocent Nigerians as deserters from the separatist group, saying that such actions have endangered individuals in the past.

IPOB-PW gave the warning a statement signed by Nwachukwu Emereonye on Friday while cautioning Nworu.

Nworu singled out a journalist (name undisclosed) in their social media circle, alleging that the individual had joined IPOB-PW after abandoning IPOB.

Emereonye, however, clarified that the journalist had simply redirected their professional efforts elsewhere.

The IPOB-Political wing stressed that the targeting of individuals for persecution and intimidation by Nworu, Chika Edoziem, and their associates would not be tolerated any longer.

The political group further cautioned that the violent actions of Nworu and his allies against civilians and professionals in Nigeria would be decisively halted through any necessary means.

“We have no affiliation with the mentioned individual, as we are a carefully selected and highly positioned group awaiting the appropriate time to announce our leadership.

“Undoubtedly, there are current members, former members, and non-members of IPOB who have now aligned with IPOB-PW.

“However, the practice of singling out individuals for persecution, threats, or harm by Chinasa Nworu, Chika Edoziem, and their associates will not be condoned. It is essential to remember that those who live in glass houses should refrain from casting stones.

It said: “IPOB-PW will confront the activities carried out by Chinasa Nworu and his allies against civilians and professionals in Nigeria.

“They will be held accountable for any acts of terror against Igbo individuals.

“Since the launch of its website, IPOB-PW, Chinasa Nworu and his associates have expressed fear that their exploitation of donations and violence in Ala-Igbo would be disrupted.

“For over 12 years, they have misguided the Igbo people and plunged Ala-Igbo into chaos with their approach to Biafran agitation, a trend that IPOB-PW is now striving to change.”
