Sokoto state governor and chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has made a call to the best minds in Nigeria and abroad to come together to find ways to resolve the various challenges the country is facing. Tambuwal made the appeal during his speech at the recently concluded PDP convention.

According to the Sokoto state governor, the best platform for the best Nigerians to work together today is the PDP. The party, he said is laying the foundation for a better Nigeria that will defend all Nigerians from our internal or external enemies and “patriots across the country and abroad need to join our party and its leaders to work for a better Nigeria.

The PDP Governors Forum also stated that the PDP is the party of opportunity and prosperity and he invited leaders and members of the PDP to focus on the virtues and strengths of the PDP.

Tambuwal declared that the PDP is preparing to take back leadership of Nigeria.

Addressing delegates and party members in Abuja, Tambuwal admonished that “we must in everything we do focus on our virtues and our strength. We are the party of unity; we are the party of opportunity and we are the party of prosperity”.

“Let us from today keep alive our sense of urgency and commitment to greatness so that in all our activities or decision and in any role, we are asked to play in this party, we must remember that more than ever, Nigeria needs her best leaders to come together and the best platform to do so is the PDP” he told his audience.
